Sr. Information Architect
Despite being ranked among the Top 100 event and Top 100 interactive agencies, we are hardly sitting on our laurels (and hope you aren’t either.) Instead, we’re out to transform the entire role of communications from mere messaging to a concept we lovingly call “marketing as service”. And we do this by creating “interactive brand experiences” both offline (events, guerrilla, etc.) and online (websites, viral, etc.) that simply and most importantly, cut through.
Responsibilities
- Participate in user research to understand behaviors and preferences
- Assess project’s informational needs and dynamics
- Scope, develop and understand technical considerations with the assistance of the project Technical Lead and, as required, with the client and/or third party partner(s)
- Lead, together with the Creative Director, a team of Information Architects and Designers to develop interface functionality
- Visualize concepts quickly and cleanly and lead others to do the same
- Oversee production of all user scenarios, site maps and wireframes
- Author detailed functional requirements
- Present, clearly and concisely, various stages of interface design development to clients
- Ensure your vision survives the project lifecycle
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in interactive media design (preferably within a creative team)
- A minimum of 3 years in a role exclusively focused on information architecture (for complex sites)
- Ability to research, understand and organize large amounts of specialized content
- Excellent writing, speaking, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Experience in leading brainstorming sessions
- Experience in managing and mentoring others
- Proficiency in one or more of the following: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Visio
